Frequently asked questions
What are PickleClips and how do they work?
PickleClips™ are modular weight attachments that snap or slide onto the edge of your pickleball paddle. Instead of using lead tape, you can simply clip on adjustable weights to customize balance, stability, and sweet spot size.
Why should I use PickleClips instead of lead tape?
Lead tape is messy, inconsistent, and can damage your paddle’s edgeguard. PickleClips offer a clean, reusable, and adjustable alternative that won’t leave residue or require constant re-taping. They stay firmly in place during gameplay, let you experiment with different weight positions, and help you find the perfect setup without ruining your paddle or wasting tape.
Will PickleClips fit my paddle?
Yes — PickleClips are designed to fit most modern pickleball paddle edgeguards, including popular brands like Selkirk, JOOLA, CRBN, Six Zero, Vatic, and more. If your paddle has a standard edgeguard, the Clips will snap or slide on securely. Ultra-thin, edgeless, or raw-carbon paddles may not be compatible.
Do PickleClips actually help gameplay?
Absolutely. Adding adjustable weight helps improve control, balance, stability, and sweet spot forgiveness. Most players feel smoother resets, steadier blocks, more consistent dinking, and better power transfer. During testing, players reported that the Clips felt natural within minutes and never shifted — even during fast, hands-battles or long rallies.
Will PickleClips fall off during play?
No. PickleClips are engineered to grip the edgeguard firmly, even during high-intensity play. They stay locked in place for hours on court. Testers played two hours of fast-paced singles and doubles with zero slipping — even while fidgeting with them between points.
What’s the difference between Slides and Snaps?
- PickleClips Slides: Adjustable, repositionable, and great for players who want total control.
- PickleClips Snaps: Fixed-position, ultra-secure, and ideal for players who prefer a solid, permanent-feeling setup.
Both offer the same balanced weighted feel — it just depends how much adjustability you want.
When you buy PickleClips™, you’re doing more than upgrading your paddle. A portion of every sale helps fund PICL — Pickleball for Incarcerated Communities League, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing the joy, connection, and mental health benefits of pickleball into correctional facilities across the country. Together, we’re expanding access to the sport and creating meaningful opportunities for people inside to grow, connect, and play.
